Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells is expected to see a handful of plays Thursday against the Tennessee Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.
Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells is expected to participate in a handful of plays on Thursday against the Tennessee Titans, according to The Arizona Republic. Wells is recovering from knee surgery in January, and has seen his practice time increase over the last two weeks. Coach Ken Wisenhunt says there are no concerns about the knee from a health standpoint, but Wells appears to have been walking with a slight limp at times.
Analysis: Wells will be one of the running backs that fantasy owners grab in the middle rounds of their fantasy drafts and just hope turn into something. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season and could be a solid No. 3 running back. What remains to be seen is how effective second-year running back Ryan Williams will be. He missed last season because of a knee injury and could take some carries from Wells.
