Houston Texans rookie kicker Randy Bullock and veteran Shayne Graham are currently locked in a close competition for the team's starting kicker job, and coach Gary Kubiak says it's split down the middle right now. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans rookie kicker Randy Bullock and veteran Shayne Graham are currently locked in a close competition for the team's starting kicker job, and coach Gary Kubiak says it's split down the middle right now, according to Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com. Graham is 4-4 on field goals this preseason with a long of 49 yards, while Bullock is 2-3 with a long of 52 yards. Bullock's lone miss came from 51 yards out.

Analysis: Texans' kickers have proven to be reliable fantasy commodities over the years because of the efficiency of the team's offense. Bullock, an All-American in 2011 for Texas A&M and Houston's fifth round pick in the 2012 draft, is known for his big leg, which he has shown off on occasion this preseason. He made his 52-yard field goal against the 49ers look easy. Graham, meanwhile, is a former Pro Bowler and has kicked for 10 different NFL teams. The winner of this competition will be worth a final-round draft choice in your fantasy league.
