DeVier Posey missed practice Thursday with a calf injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

DeVier Posey missed practice Thursday after leaving Houston Texans practice Wednesday with a calf injury, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Head coach Gary Kubiak hasn't ruled the rookie out for Saturday's preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

Analysis: The Texans drafted Posey in the third of the 2012 NFL Draft even thought the wideout played just two games with Ohio State during his senior season. He has a ton of athleticism at 6'1, 211 pounds, but it appears Posey still has some work to do if he hopes to make an impact on the field this season. According to McClain, Posey is roughly fifth on the depth chart behind fourth-round pick Keshawn Martin and second-year wideout Lestar Jean. At the moment, the latter two receivers would be better waiver-wire targets should anything happen to Andre Johnson.
