Robert Griffin III leads an exciting offense against the Colts on Saturday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Robert Griffin's third tune-up went well as he produced a stat line of 11-of-17 for 74 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: RG3's touchdown pass was a thing of beauty. The Skins moved the entire pocket to the right and Griffin found Santana Moss by the goal-line pylon. The Baylor product was also slinging it deep to Pierre Garcon multiple times and also trying to connect with Leonard Hankerson. While these attempts were all unsuccessful, it was encouraging to see that the Shanahan's don't appear to keep a conservative play-calling strategy. After a slow start, the Redskins had a dominant running game to put the Colts D on their heels.Griffin has a lot of speed on the outside and his opponents will be in a tough spot on where to play their safeties due to his scrambling skills. He has loads of talent and you'll have to reach quite a bit to grab him. He's more of a high-upside backup than a fantasy starter.
