Frank Gore has a negative total on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Frank Gore had an ugly outing on Sunday with his two rushes for negative four yards in Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Analysis: Gore also should have recovered a fumbled center-quarterback exchange, too. The big blow to his stat total was the stretch play the Niners ran that was snuffed out by Von Miller for a loss of five yards. It wasn't exactly Gore's fault that the play went for a loss and he really had no shot to get back to the line of scrimmage. Gore is in a sticky situation with the amount of depth the Niners have at running back with Kendall Hunter, LaMichael James and Brandon Jacobs all likely to eat into his workload. He is no longer viewed as an RB1 at almost any depth and shallow-league owners can probably do better than Gore as their RB2.
