The Denver Broncos tight ends, Joel Dreesen and Jacob Tamme, saw action on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

On Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, tight ends Joel Dreessen and Jacob Tamme combined for 3 catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Dreessen (2 catches, 16 yards, 1 TD) had a slightly better day than Tamme (1 catch, 14 yards) on Sunday but which tight end will be more productive in the regular season is still up in the air.

Analysis: Jacob Tamme is the favored player in terms of fantasy since he's carrying over his relationship with Peyton Manning from Indianapolis. Dreessen was an offseason addition from the Houston Texans, but has similar receiving skills and athletic ability. The Denver Broncos will use a lot of two tight end sets featuring both players on the field at the same time, which is good if you own either Dreessen or Tamme. Tamme is a good mid-to-late round choice that could outplay his draft stock in 2012.
