Houston Texans running back Arian Foster had a nice performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster looked sharp against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. He carried the ball eight times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Foster had a long run of 18 yards, finding his lanes and optimizing runs against the Saints defense.

Analysis: Foster is the consensus No. 1 pick in the majority of fantasy football leagues. As a runner, Foster has perhaps the best vision of any back in the NFL, and is one of the smoothest runners in and out of his cuts. The Texans as a team are expected to have a lot of success in 2012 and Foster could be at the center of it. He accounts for a lot of all-purpose yards, gathering fantasy points from all over. His performance against the Saints is just reassurance that he will be a dominant player this coming season.
