Washington Redskins running back Evan Royster will start the fourth and final preseason game for the Skins, but no announcement has been made by head coach Mike Shanahan on who will be the starter for the regular season. Royster started the first game of the preseason and missed the third with a knee injury. Washington has also suffered injuries to backs Tim Hightower and Roy Helu as they still are trying to figure out who could be the primary back. Alfred Morris, who ran for 107 yards last week, will be resting. Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback while Robert Griffin III also gets the night off.
Fantasy Implications: No surprise here that Shanahan won't name a starter and it's possible that no back will get the majority of carries during the season. It's the same issue that fantasy owners have had for years with the coach and while it's a risk to draft any of these players, it's also possible that any one of them could break out for a big season. The fact that Morris is resting tonight could actually indicate he'd be the starter in week one.
