Quarterback Robert Griffin sat out the Washington Redskins final preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday night. Griffin opened camp as the undisputed starting quarterback and has mostly lived up to the billing thus far. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft is expected to provide an instant jolt to Washington's offense.
Analysis: It's a good sign that the Washington Redskins wanted to sit Robert Griffin in the final preseason game. That means the coaching staff has seen all they need to see from the youngster and that he'll be ready to start when the Skins kick off their season.
