Texans RB Justin Forsett had a big night in the preseason finale. We break down the fantasy implications.
With the Houston Texans resting nearly their entire starting unit Thursday night, 3rd-string RB Justin Forsett got the start against the Minnesota Vikings. He made the most of his opportunity, setting a team single-game preseason record with 114 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns.
Analysis: Forsett isn't expected to move any higher on the depth chart, being entrenched behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate, but tonight he showed off the quickness and big-play ability that made him a valued contributor with the Seattle Seahawks for a few seasons, and the Texans may give him time on special teams and 3rd down situations. Barring an injury catastrophe, his fantasy impact should be minimal, but he's someone to keep an eye on.
