Wide receiver David Douglas has been cut by the New York Giants, but could be picked up by an NFC East rival. We break down the fantasy implications.
Wide receiver David Douglas has been cut by the New York Giants but another NFC East team may be eyeing him. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com says the Cowboys may have an interest in Douglas. The receiver is a favorite with Giants fans and New York would likely try and sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
Analysis: Douglas would obviously have more fantasy value on a 53-man roster than on a practice squad, and there would seem to be room to move up on the Cowboys behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. There is no reason for fantasy owners to target Douglas but it will be interesting to see if he fits into another team's plans.
