Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith is back on the practice field on Thursday. We break down fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith has returned to the practice field at full speed. Smith missed Wednesday's practice because of a bruised shin. Smith was injured on Tuesday, but coach Ron Rivera did not seem concerned and originally predicted that Smith would be able to be back in practice the next day. Smith was with the team on Wednesday, but was not in pads.

Analysis: This is an expected development and never seemed to be a high-stress area for the Panthers or fantasy owners. Smith has been in the league for over a decade, so there are always going to be some wear-and-tear concerns, but it is going to take a lot more than a bruised shin to raise any red flags this far out from the regular season. The Panthers face Houston on Saturday, and Smith will likely not see a lot of action against the Texans.
