Trent Richardson is very close to returning to practice in time for Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cleveland Browns RB Trent Richardson's rehab from knee surgery is still on schedule. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the No. 3 draft pick was outside on an exercise bike for the first time, and coach Pat Shurmur says that he is "very close to practicing." Richardson missed the entire preseason with a routine knee scope.

Fantasy Impact: Progress is slow but steady for Richardson, but he's still on track to play in Week 1. The Browns won't give him a heavy workload in the beginning of the season, so he'll split time with Montario Hardesty and Brandon Jackson. Keep this in mind as you go through your drafts and set your Week 1 lineups. Richardson still has potential to be a Top 10 fantasy RB, but get his handcuff in order for now.
