Robert Griffin III had a monster debut for the Washington Redskins in Week 1. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III had a monster debut in a shocking upset win over the New Orleans Saints. Griffin went 19-of-26 for 320 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He was accurate, decisive and didn't make mistakes -- all in all, he looked like a seasoned vet.

Fantasy Analysis: Griffin looks like the second-coming of Cam Newton, who was a fantasy steal as a rookie in 2011. Griffin went well in the late rounds of most fantasy drafts, for fantasy gamers that spent their high picks acquiring playmakers at skill positions like WR and RB. Sunday's emergence of Griffin indicates he might be a must-start, and if he's riding your bench, consider playing match-ups or trading him for a value player.
