Matt Forte had a solid day for the Chicago Bears in Week 1. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte averaged 5.0 yards per carry, helping to guide the Bears to a victory. Forte carried 16 times for 80 yards and touchdown. And as expected, Forte provided a receiving option out the backfield for Jay Cutler.

Fantasy Analysis: Matt Forte is one of top backs in the NFL today. The Bears will pride themselves on having a balanced attack going forward, with Forte leading this Chicago ground game. He is an all-purpose threat who racks up fantasy points from all over. Forte is a must-start week-in and week-out, despite the presence of Michael Bush who may be stealing red zone carries.
