Washington Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon says he doesn't expect a foot injury to force him to miss any significant playing time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Washington Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon says he doesn't expect to miss any playing significant playing time after injuring his foot in Sunday's Week 1 win over the New Orleans Saints. According to The Washington Post, x-rays taken on Garcon's foot were negative and coach Mike Shanahan said he didn't expect the injury to keep Garcon out the game with the St. Louis Rams in Week 2. Garcon caught four passes for 109 yards, including an 88-yard touchdown against the Saints.

Fantasy Impact: Garcon was off to a strong start in Sunday's game before the foot injury. As long as he stays healthy, Garcon figures to get his chances from Robert Griffin III. Monitor the team's injury reports during the week because he could be a fantasy option as a No. 3 receiver of flex play against the Rams in Week 2.
