Brandon Weeden is still the No. 1 quarterback in Cleveland. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Pat Shurmur made it clear that Brandon Weeden is his starting quarterback right now. Shurmur gave a resounding vote of confidence about Weeden, saying he will get better as the season goes on.

Fantasy Impact: Shurmur can express all the confidence in the world about Weeden, but it doesn't change the fact that he should be no where near your fantasy team at this juncture. The rookie quarterback finished with a passer rating of 5.1 against the Eagles. The Browns have so much work to do on the offensive side of the ball, and with few play makers in the receiving corps, Weeden is going to have a tough time putting it all together in Cleveland.
