The Rams put C Scott Wells on IR with a broken foot. We break down the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher told Rams Radio that C Scott Wells will go on injured reserve with a fractured foot. Wells left the game Sunday in the first half of the Rams' 27-23 loss to the Detroit Lions and did not return. Rob Turner is expected to take his place.

Fantasy Impact: It's another huge loss to St. Louis' O-line, which also lost starting LT Rodger Saffold with a neck injury in the same game. The Rams signed Wells to a $24 million deal in the offseason in an effort to help Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson, but are already forced to use a patchwork line after just one game. Jackson is now a shaky fantasy play against the Redskins in Week 2.
