Dennis Pitta caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown on nine targets as the Ravens demolished the Bengals on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dennis Pitta caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown as the Baltimore Ravens dismantled the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Pitta led the Ravens with nine targets on the night. Anquan Boldin was second on the team with five targets. Fellow tight end Ed Dickson caught two passes for 22 yards on just three targets.

Analysis: Pitta was held out of preseason while recovering from surgery to repair a broken hand, so kudos if you were able to predict his breakout performance Monday. The tight end slowly took over the lion's share of targets away from Dickson late last season, and on Monday appeared to be Joe Flacco's go-to target even ahead of Boldin and Torrey Smith. Pitta could be an intriguing waiver target, but bear in mind that one big performance does not constitute a trend.
