BenJarvus Green-Ellis was impressive Monday night, rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in the Bengals' loss to the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis ran for 91 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, but couldn't keep the Cincinnati Bengals from being trounced, 44-13, by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. He carried the load for Cincinnati, with Cedric Peerman and Brian Leonard combining for 27 yards on six carries.
Analysis: Green-Ellis proved he could be the main man at running back against one of football's best defensive fronts. He showed power and enough wiggle to keep fantasy owners optimistic about his fantasy prospects going forward. Whether he can remain productive while the passing game struggles remains to be seen, however. Without proper balance, defenses will be able to gear up to stop Green-Ellis.
