Carson Palmer went 32-for-46 passing for 297 yards and a touchdown during Monday night's game between the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers. He lost 21 yards on the night off three sacks. Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford were inactive on the night due to injuries, limiting the receiving corps.
Analysis: Palmer's numbers were fine from a fantasy perspective, but Raiders fans probably aren't too encouraged by the performance. The veteran quarterback was constantly forced to check down to running back Darren McFadden or tight end Brandon Myers, and the Raiders offense was stagnant for the most part. Palmer was nearly shut out of a touchdown, but he was able to find rookie Rod Streater on a six-yard touchdown pass with 54 seconds left in the game. The return of Moore and Ford, potentially by next week, will hopefully open things up more downfield.
