Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount will not practice Wednesday and will have to have an MRI on his neck and back, general manager Mark Dominik said. Blount appeared to be shaken up on a second-quarter hit in the team's Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers but Dominik said Wednesday that Blount did not have a concussion. Blount had just eight yards on three carries in the season-opener.
Fantasy Impact: Blount's fantasy value had already taken a hit with the emergence of rookie Doug Martin and the arrival of veteran D.J. Ware, who took most of the snaps on third downs. Fantasy owners who have Blount will probably want to look at other options on the waiver wire for depth at running back.
