Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says running back Adrian Peterson is "pretty close" to returning to his old form. We break down the fantasy implications.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is close to returning to his old form, coach Leslie Frazier said Wednesday. Frazier, according to Vikings writer Jeremy Fowler of The Pioneer Press, said Peterson is "pretty, pretty close" but he might not be there yet.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners who started Peterson in Week 1 have to be inclined to believe Leslie Frazier. Peterson scored two touchdowns and carried the ball 17 times for 84 yards in last weekend's overtime win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Peterson may see his workload controlled as the season goes along, but in Week 2 Peterson should be considered a No. 1 fantasy option against the Indianapolis Colts.
