Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was limited in practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was limited in practice on Wednesday, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports. Person says Smith was also seen wearing a brace on his right knee in the locker room. The Panthers are preparing to face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Smith caught seven passes for 106 yards in Week 1 and should be a good start for fantasy owners against the New Orleans Saints this week. Smith has been in the league a long time and will probably be sore from time to time. Limited practice is still better than no practice, so owners should feel pretty confident that he will be available on Sunday. He is a fringe No. 1 receiver this week.
