New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to practice Thursday, a day after sitting out to rest his injured foot. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hakeem Nicks returned to practice on Thursday for the New York Giants, a day after sitting out to rest the foot he broke back in the spring. Nicks said on Wednesday that the day off was planned and that he would practice on Thursday. The Giants play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners counting on Nicks this week should be able to go forward with their plans to use him. Nicks played in Week 1 and has had extra time to rest because New York's season opened on a Wednesday night. He may have to rest his foot during the week as the season goes along but there is no reason to be any more concerned at this point. He is a No. 1 receiver this week in 12-team leagues.
