Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount returned to practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount returned to practice on Thursday, a day after having an MRI taken on his neck and back. Blount was cleared to practice after the MRI on Wednesday. Blount, along with veteran, D.J. Ware, is a backup to rookie starter Doug Martin.

Fantasy Impact: Blount is not currently a factor in Tampa Bay's offense and of little value to fantasy owners. It's good news for him that he has been cleared to play but Martin was featured heavily in the team's Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers. Martin is the only Tampa Bay back to own heading into this weekend's game with the New York Giants. He is a fringe No. 1 running back in a 12-team league.
