Antonio Gates missed practice again on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates missed his second straight practice Thursday with a rib injury, reports Michael Gehlken. Gates suffered the injury Monday night against the Oakland Raiders, and despite sitting out some third quarter snaps, had four catches for 43 yards on eight targets.

Fantasy Impact: It seems to be more of a precautionary measure than any actual concern that he may miss Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Aside from a couple drops, Gates looked like his old self in Week 1, and is still a reliable TE1 in most fantasy league formats. He could have a big day against a Titans defense that had no answer for Aaron Hernandez or Rob Gronkowski last week.
