Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith is listed as questionable for Week 2 but is expected to play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panther wide receiver Steve Smith is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with the New Orleans Saints but coach Ron Rivera said Friday he expects Smith to play. Rivera said that the team wants to see if Smith experienced any soreness in his knee after Friday's practice.

Fantasy Impact: Smith has been expected to play all along, so it's good news for fantasy owners that Rivera isn't backing away from that just days before the game. Smith remains Cam Newton's favorite target in the passing game and could be in for a big week against a New Orleans pass defense that struggled in Week 1. Smith is a No. 1 fantasy receiver in most leagues this week.
