Rashad Jennings has been ruled out for Sunday's game between the Jaguars and the Texans. We break down the fantasy implications.
Rashad Jennings has been ruled out for Sunday's game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans. Jennings sat out practice all week with a knee injury suffered during last week's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Montell Owens is expected to be the top backup behind Maurice Jones-Drew this week.
Fantasy Impact: Jennings likely would not have played a major role this week even if healthy, but the fact that he's out only solidifies Jones-Drew as the Jaguars' leading man in the backfield. Going forwards, expect MJD to hog touches out of Jacksonville's backfield, relegating Jennings as a necessary handcuff to Jones-Drew owners and little more in fantasy circles.
