Fred Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday's game between the Bills and the Chiefs. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fred Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday's game between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson suffered a sprained right knee injury during the Bills' season opener against the New York Jets, and is expected to miss at least one more week. C.J. Spiller is expected to handle the rushing load against Kansas City.
Fantasy Impact: Spiller had a huge game against the Jets with Jackson out, rushing for 169 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Whether those numbers are repeatable remains to be seen, but regardless Spiller should be considered a solid RB2 at the moment. That will change when Jackson returns, of course, but for now opportunistic waiver wire workers can reap the benefits.
