Riley Cooper has been ruled out for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper (collarbone) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Cooper missed the entire preseason and Week 1 after breaking his collarbone in late July. His practice time was sporadic this week, being limited on Wednesday and Friday while sitting out Thursday.
Fantasy Impact: Cooper is a fantasy non-factor for now, but with Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson nursing injuries of their own, he's worth keeping an eye on. Once he's cleared to play, he'll likely compete with Jason Avant for the No. 3 WR position, but we're putting the cart ahead of the horse here. For now, keep him on the waiver wire where he belongs.
