Jason Avant is probable for Week 2 against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Jason Avant (wrist) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Avant was a full participant in all three practices this week and should be ready to go. He caught four passes for 27 yards in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact: With DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin both questionable, the Eagles' WR depth is pretty dire this week, but it also opens up an opportunity for Avant to get some surprise fantasy value - Kevin Ogletree had a big game for the Cowboys in a similar situation. It's the type of fantasy play that could either win your matchup or totally blow up in your face, so watch for Sunday's inactive reports before rolling the dice.
