EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - SEPTEMBER 9: David Nelson #86 of the Buffalo Bills is hit by LaRon Landry #30 the New York Jets after making a first down in the fourth quarter during an NFL game at MetLife Stadium on September 9, 2012 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. David Nelson is out for the year. We break down the fantasy implications.

David Nelson suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Analysis: This is a big blow to Buffalo since Nelson was used on a lot of underneath routes. Ryan Fitzpatrick struggles to throw the ball down the field and he'll need a new security blanket. It looks like Donald Jones is the beneficiary of this injury and he's certainly on the radar in competitive leagues. Jones saw seven targets on Sunday and there's good chance he will at least mtach that total against the Chiefs. Owners in deep PPR leagues could do worse since the Falcons made it clear the Chiefs have some holes on the outside.
