Pierre Garcon is expected to run and test his foot before Sunday's Redskins-Rams game, but is unlikely to play. We break down the fantasy implications.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will run and test out his foot before the game, but he is not expected to be able to play for today's game. Garcon suffered the foot injury in the Redskins win last Sunday over the New Orleans Saints, and was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.
Fantasy Impact: The Redskins would do the fantasy world a huge favor by declaring Garcon inactive for the game. One of the biggest pains in fantasy football is an injured player who decides he can play, only to finish with one catch for eight yards. Garcon had a great thing going with Robert Griffin III last week, but he is a poor fantasy play this week, even if healthy.
