Ed Reed is active for Sunday's game between the Ravens and the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ed Reed is active for Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles. Reed suffered a hamstring injury during last week's season debut against the Cincinnati Bengals after returning an interception for a touchdown. He is not officially expected to be limited in any way.
Fantasy Impact: Reed is one of the NFL's all-time great ball hawks, and that makes him worth fantasy consideration as an IDP despite his age. He isn't a very good source of tackles from the free safety spot, however, so you'll have to hope for greatness every week if he becomes a regular part of your fantasy lineup. His presence certainly gives the Ravens a major boost as a team defense option, however.
