C.J. Spiller is having a field day. We break down the fantasy implications.

C.J. Spiller is the frontrunner for fantasy player of the day at this point with his monstrous first half of 11 carries for 92 yards, three catches for 47 yards on his three targets and two scores.

Analysis: We knew he was going to have a big day and was ranked in the top four for PPR and standard leagues, but those are some gaudy numbers, folks. Spiller is going to tear it up for the next month while Fred Jackson is on the mend. The Clemson product has been lining up at WR in the slot and he could lead the NFL in touches. He also had a 12.1 YPC last week and boasts an 8.1 this week. Fantasy owners should be getting top-30 value in return should they decide to trade him and Fred Jackson's value drops even more with these developments.
