C.J. Spiller Goes Bananas For Fantasy Owners

Sept. 16, 2012; Orchard Park, NY, USA; Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller (28) avoids a tackle by Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Javier Arenas (21) and runs the ball in for a touchdown during the first half at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Timothy T. Ludwig-US PRESSWIRE

C.J. Spiller had a day. We break down the fantasy implications.

C.J. Spiller had a ball game against the Chiefs to the tune of 15 carries for 123 yards, three receptions for 47 yards and two scores.

Analysis: Spiller just made things really interesting for when Fred Jackson comes back. After his unreal 12.1 YPC last week with 192 yards, he tore it up this week with another stellar 8.2 YPC this week. Spiller's skills at the second level are among the best in the NFL and the Bills used him all over the field including in the slot. If you have C.J. Spiller, you're going to start him every week while Jackson is out. Fred-Jax's value is falling while he remains out.
