Matthew Stafford didn't do much damage against the Niners secondary on Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.
The 49ers kept Matthew Stafford in check throughout their Sunday night matchup with the Lions. Stafford completed 19 of 32 passes for 230 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked twice and threw one interception as well, ending with a 78.9 passer rating.
Fantasy Impact: Until the end of the fourth quarter, Stafford was well below 200 passing yards for the game. He was able to put one solid drive together with little time left to play, leading to his only touchdown on the night. It's been a disappointing start to 2012 for Stafford, who was selected mainly in the second and third round of most drafts. The fourth-year quarterback now has two touchdowns and four interceptions in his first two matchups. Expect a much bigger day, though, from the young Lions leader next weekend against the Titans.
