Frank Gore Fantasy Stock Still High After Big Day Against Lions

Frank Gore had 105 total yards of offense and a touchdown during Sunday's game between the 49ers and Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Frank Gore rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries during Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions. Gore also caught two passes for 16 yards during the win. He has now gone over 100 totals yards of offense with a rushing touchdown in each of his first two games of the season.

Fantasy Impact: Despite their multiple offseason moves to add running backs, the 49ers have been using Gore as a feature back through the first two games of the regular season. Kendall Hunter has gotten a fair number of touches--he had five carries for 23 yards and two catches for 21 yards in the win--but for the most part Gore has been the man in San Francisco. Until further notice, there isn't any reason to expect anything to change.
