Vernon Davis had five receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday night's game between the 49ers and the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Vernon Davis had five receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday night's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions. Davis was targeted seven times on the night, tying Michael Crabtree for the team lead. Both of his touchdown receptions came from just outside of the red zone.

Fantasy Impact: Davis was a target all over the field for the Niners. It really is a testament to his freakish athleticism that he has become one of the few tight ends in the NFL that can also function as a deep threat if need be. He is certainly a Top 5 fantasy tight end worthy of a weekly start in standard leagues.
