Arizona Cardinals tight end Todd Heap had an MRI on his injured knee on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.
UPDATE: PER KENT SOMERS, HEAP'S MRI REVEALED A SPRAINED PCL AND HE IS DAY TO DAY. WE'LL KEEP YOU UPDATED ON HIS STATUS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
Arizona Cardinals tight end Todd Heap had an MRI Monday on his injured knee but the results are not yet known, according to beat writer Darren Urban. Heap left Sunday's win over the New England Patriots in the third quarter and did not return. Heap had five catches for 62 yards in Week 2.
Fantasy Impact: Heap probably wasn't being counted on by too many fantasy owners but 62 yards and five catches is worth noting. Fantasy owners should know more as the week goes along but Arizona's offense isn't explosive enough to worry about Heap -- or anyone not named Larry Fitzgerald -- at this point. If healthy, is a fringe No. 2 fantasy tight end.
