Justin Blackmon still has work to do before he can make an impact in Jacksonville. We break down the fantasy implications.
Justin Blackmon failed to record a single catch in his second game of the season. Mike Mularkey points that Blackmon needs to improve his route-running while being more decisive in his motions.
Fantasy Impact: Blackmon hasn't made much of an impact through two games in 2012. He caught just three passes in Week 1, and the entire Jaguars offense struggled against the Texans this past Sunday, so it was no surprise Blackmon didn't put up big numbers. Mularkey also pointed out that his rookie receiver needs to have more patience, waiting for the right time to make his move in coverage. Blaine Gabbert isn't going to turn any of his targets into a fantasy superstar, so you should keep Blackmon on your bench until we see some progress made.
