Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis will be subject to concussion protocol after receiving an illegal hit to the head in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis will be subject to concussion protocol after receiving an illegal hit to the head in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, according to Rich Campbell. There is no confirmation that Davis received a concussion at this point, but he will go through the league-mandated protocol to determine his health.
Fantasy Impact: Despite Robert Griffin III's incredible start to the season, Fred Davis has been somewhat of a non-factor. Davis hasn't been as heavily targeted as he was last season, and Griffin has been thriving on the deep ball. An injury would further derail Davis' fantasy season. Stay tuned to SB Nation Fantasy for updates on Davis' status.
