Kellen Winslow will sign a one-year contract with the Patriots on Tuesday, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kellen Winslow is set to sign a one-year contract with the New England Patriots, according to reports. The tight end-rich Patriots found themselves down a body after Aaron Hernandez suffered what appeared to be a high ankle sprain during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Winslow was released from the Seattle Seahawks before the season began.

Fantasy Impact: Winslow is a very talented pass catcher if he's healthy and cooperative. He will have to prove himself again on the field before falling back into the good graces of fantasy owners, however. Still, Bill Belichick has a reputation of turning problem children into productive players. Keep an eye on Winslow, but he's too risky to pick up off waivers just yet.
