Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure practiced Wednesday after being suspended for the first two games of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure was at practice Wednesday as he prepares to return from his two-game suspension. Leshoure, who missed last season because of an Achilles injury, is expected to challenge Kevin Smith right away for the starting spot. Detroit plays the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.

Fantasy Impact: This is the week Smith owners have been dreading. The Lions were not able to establish much of a running game in their Week 2 loss and it's not yet clear how much playing time Smith is going to lose. For week 3, fantasy owners might want to stay away from this backfield but Leshoure is likely the running back you'll want to have going forward.
