Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis was given the baseline test and does not have a concussion. Davis took a big hit to the head in the fourth quarter of last weekend's loss to the St. Louis Rams. Davis said (via WJFK-FM's Grant Paulsen) that he is in line to practice as play as he normally would. The Redskins play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: The Redskins have enough injuries to worry about on defense, so it's good news that Davis is not dealing with a concussion. Davis has just four catches for 52 yards through two games, a disappointing total for fantasy owners. He is a No. 2 fantasy tight end this week.
