Javon Ringer is expected to return to practice this week for the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Javon Ringer is expected to return to practice this week for the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Tennessean reports. Ringer sat out last week's game against the San Diego Chargers after missing the previous week undergoing surgery on an infected elbow. There is no indication yet on his status for Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact: Ringer's return creates an interesting situation for the Titans. While no one has suggested that Chris Johnson is in any way in danger of losing his starting job at running back, the fact that he has just 21 yards rushing through two games could open up more touches for Ringer going forward. Whether Ringer can be productive behind the Titans' offensive line is another matter, however.
