Dustin Keller sat out Jets practice Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dustin Keller will not practice for the New York Jets on Wednesday, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Keller has been bothered by a hamstring injury since preseason, and though he was able to suit up for the season opener against the Buffalo Bills he had to sit out last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fantasy Impact: There is no indication just how long Keller will sit, but it's clear he's not going to recover from his nagging hamstring injury over night. If you need production from a Jets tight end, Jeff Cumberland (two receptions, 13 yards, five targets last week) is the man to pursue. In standard leagues he isn't worth rostering for the most part, however.
