New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was a full participant in practice this week despite lower back tightness. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
New York Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez was a full practice participant this week but was listed on team's injury report, via the New York Post. The Jets QB is dealing with some lower back tightness, but was able to prepare for this week's upcoming match versus division rival Miami Dolphins. Despite being listed on the team's injury report, Sanchez should be expected to go on Sunday.
Fantasy Analysis: Healthy or not, Sanchez has little to no fantasy value. The offense took strides in Week 1, but appeared to have regressed in Week 2. He should remain a free agent in most leagues, and is hardly a decent No. 2 QB given all the good, young quarterbacks right now. Even against the Miami Dolphins, Sanchez should remain on the bench in Week 3.
