Domenik Hixon wins the third spot on the receiver depth chart. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Giants named Domenik Hixon as their number three wide receiver.

Fantasy Analysis: Most of the time the third wide receiver on the depth chart would hold the most value behind the top two options, but that won't be the case with the Giants. Hixon has torn his ACL the past two seasons and almost has no chance to play on not-so-obvious passing downs. If something were to happen to the stud duo of Hakeem Nicks or Victor Cruz, rookie Rueben Randle would see the largest increase in value. Ramses Barden also projects as a better option on the outside, but his mistakes have been well documented. Standard league owners shouldn't be overly concerned about this development until further notice.
